Teupen Puts Safety at Users’ Fingertips

CHARLOTTE, N.C., (June 14, 2016) -- Teupen USA has released electronic Familiarization Guides for compact lift operation, allowing trainers and operators to have product and safety information on their mobile devices while in the field. 

Published by EPRO Safety Solutions, the Teupen iBooks, which are available in both English and Spanish, are designed to serve as reference tools for both the person conducting initial hands-on Operator Familiarization Training and for the operator as a refresher after receiving training. The guides consist of best practices based on the recommendations of the manufacturer and industry standards. Sample areas covered in chapters include:

• Controls
• Tracks
• Outriggers
• Workplace Assessment
• Pre-Use Inspection
• Loading/Unloading

There are currently two versions of Teupen's Familiarization Guides, Series 1 and Series 2, which are differentiated by the machine models they cover. Series 1 is for machines in height up to 54 feet. Series 2 covers machines from 63 to 69 feet.
